Javorius Allen to Lead Fantasy Teams in Week 6?

Just when it looks like the Ravens will be getting back Steve Smith Sr. in week six, it looks like they’ll be losing another key offensive player in Justin Forsett.

Forsett suffered an injury late against the Browns and hasn’t practiced on Wednesday or Thursday. As it stands, it looks like fantasy owners will be without Forsett this week.

While Forsett and the running game started off slow, over the past two weeks, Forsett has run the ball 48 times for 271 yards.

It looks like the running game is finding it’s wings, and really shouldn’t skip a bit with Javorius Allen getting the start.

If you own Forsett or simply need a running back in week 6, you NEED to grab Allen. He is basically the only Ravens running back standing with Forsett hurt, and Lorenzo Taliaferro recently placed on the I.R.

The Ravens have run the ball over 20 times in each of their past two games, and Allen has a juicy matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.

The 49ers have allowed 540 yards and six touchdowns on the ground this year to running backs. They have also given up five receptions per game to running backs this season, and Giants running backs caught 12 passes against them in week 5.

It’s safe to say, Allen easily has a shot at ending week 6 as a high-end RB2. Given his opportunity and his matchup, owners need to consider starting him.
